RAqS was back with an audio-visual experience of microtonal, heavy electronics and dance elements!! 25.June.2022 in Parallel Amsterdam.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Hailing from one of the most mystical and musically rich cities in the Levant, Hello Psychaleppo is deeply rooted in oriental music tradition. using melodies of the Arab Bedouin “Mawwals” and the ecstatic strains of Tarab, and threads it through convoluted, industrial structures made from dubstep, drum & bass, electro and trip-hop. He creates a journey away from boundaries of style, engaging souls into letting go while experiencing a new dimension of sonic blends.
Glitter’s journey has taken her from the Ocean district of Rabat to the North of France where she brought her family Chaabi music to the shabby bars. Currently based in Paris, the Moroccan born DJ keeps on refining her sound between the music of the western world and the futurism of techno.
Tarxun is a musical/visual experience, originating from artist, designer and musician performer Farshad Moshiri Xajehnassiri, who explores audio/visual realms by means of analogue/digital operations. Tarxun has been involved in projects including sound, video, lights and interactive media in Tehran (Iran), Berlin (Germany), London (UK) and Turin (Italy). more than ten projects including composition and sound design for short films, animations, installations, poetry, exhibitions and advertisements plus music releases and productions.
